This is the complete route of the most beautiful sections of the Ariège. 15 intense kilometers! Pack a picnic. You'll embark on a fast-flowing mountain stream. A series of small rapids to navigate in a double canoe or single kayak. The trip finishes in Mercus, where our shuttles will take you back to your starting point.

You have to steer your canoe or kayak through small rapids. The route passes through Tarascon-sur-Ariège and then Bompas, where Lake Garrabet begins. Mercus is 3 km further on. The tranquility of a lake also means some paddling! But the beauty of the site and the view over the valley reward the effort. Return trips depart every half hour from the beach at Mercus.
