From 7 years old: provided that it can swim at least 25 meters and that it is comfortable with being immersed.
The flow of our river is supported by several upstream dams. These large altitude lakes provide a sufficient level of water all year round for the practice of canoe. This will not prevent you from crossing a rock because Ariège remains a mountain torrent.
We offer six routes for all levels. If it's your first time canoeing, we recommend the Discovery or Whitewater routes. The "Discovery" route is specifically designed for beginners. At the start of the trip, you'll learn how to paddle and discover the calmest 3km of our river.
The 9km "Whitewater" route includes the first three kilometers of the Discovery route plus an additional 6km where the river is a bit more challenging. At the end of the Discovery route, you can choose whether to continue or stop after the 3km.
No worries we accept doggies free of charge. Make sure your dog is comfortable in the water and take a cloth (towel or other) to stabilize it on the canoe. We offer rental vests for your dog.
We provide you with a waterproof can to take your picnic or snack, your towel and if you want dry clothes, your phone. Do not forget to bring closed tennis or water shoes, if you do not have one it is possible to buy them at the reception of our base. A cap or a hat may also be necessary. Our river moves you will be wet the best hold is a swimsuit or short t shirt.
We tell you navigation durations for each course but it is you who manage your time, the first departures are made from 10 a.m. and the only imperative arrived before 6 p.m. So you organize your descent and your day as you see fit.

At 1, 2 or 3, for the 3 -person version this is suitable for 2 adults and a child under 10 or 1 adult and 2 children.
